Notes on: Texture

These leather trousers (faux of course). From the moment I saw them on the Because of Alice website, I've been silently plotting on how I'd ensure they'd become a staple within my wardrobe. 

And they finally have.

There's something about how a specific texture can elevate what would ordinarily be a basic 'fit to suddenly look a lot more interesting and thought-out. For the A/W season, I've really enjoyed seeing the fashion girlies & mandem bust out their leather coats, jackets, trousers - in an array of different colours as well might I add! 

For this look, I wanted to keep it very clean and minimal - an  all-black 'fit elevated by these scrumptious leather trousers. I chose to pair them with a pair of converse and my favourite ASOS coat. 

& honestly? It gave what it was supposed to give. 

S I C K L E S E C R E T S

 I am layering two long-sleeved thermals as well as a sleeveless thermal underneath my top and trouser thermals underneath my trousers. I was super warm so this outfit is perfect for A/W!
