Notes on: Colour

There's nothing like a pop of colour to add a bit of pizzazz to your outfit. Once I saw this cobalt blue top, my wheels started turning and I'd styled at least 4 outfits with it mentally.

Top: ASOS | Jacket: Zara | Belt: ASOS

Sunglasses: ASOS | Earrings: ASOS

I finally settled on pairing her with nothing but black pieces & accessories because she is the moment.

Trousers: Zara

Shoes: Schuh

Bag: Zara

I think A/W is a perfect time to be even bolder with my colour choices because even though winter do be wintering, I gotta bring the sunshine through my 'fits (obviii).

I know that colour can be a daring domain for some so I think that,

"choosing to delve into the world of colour also means figuring out what suits you and flatters your skin tone." ~ Harper’s Bazaar

I am used to sticking to warmer tones and don't wear a lot of blue so it was really fun to experiment. I love that the top has cut-outs as well because it adds a bit of razzle dazzle to the overall look. However, I don't think it's a top I'd wear in the thick of winter because chest exposure? - miss me with that pls & thanks!

I am wearing thermal trousers underneath my jeans, thick socks and ensured I paired this with a shearling jacket because they're lined and help to trap a lot more heat which is what my body needs and loves during the chilly A/W season.
